Presto Salad

Image
I made this to go along side of some pork chops. We all liked the flavor but next time I am going to combine the white mixture with the jello mix. Cliff HATES jello!!! He liked it until he got a big bite of jello and then he was done. I don't love the texture of jello so I think that I will just mix it in next time and top it with the fruit. This will still give us the flavor without the texture. Great for summer or when your wishing for summer.

Sugar Cookies

Image
Morgan LOVES to make these cookies! She and her friends decided supper bowl Sunday was a great reason to make them. I am hoping when all this is said and done we don't weigh an extra 30 lb each. I do have to say that because these are so good I do not like any other sugar cookie. Sugar Cookie Snobs are what we are!

Play Dough

Image
GRAND KIDS LOVED IT!!! This was a fun and easy activity to do with the kids. They had fun making all kinds of things. The plastic bag to incorporate the color worked very well so our hands didn't turn colors.

Curried Peanut Soup

Image
Once again the holy Trinity for soup. I can tell you that Morgan and I had a bowl but Cliff couldn't stomach it. He couldn't do the peanut taste in soup. We did not eat the leftovers so we gave this soup a "D". Just not our thing. I am glad we tried it!

Bacon Quiche

Image
This was the first time I made this recipe. WE LOVED IT!!!!! As you can see I choose not to make pie crusts. I can buy them and they work so that is what I did. This made 2 as you can see and I did add extra bacon. Who doesn't like bacon? We ate it for breakfast for 3 days and was good all 3 days. I will be making this again!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Image
This is one of our favorite recipes!!! These cookies get made almost every other month. We have done MANY variations to them. We have added cereal, coconut, butterscotch chips, oats and all kinds of stuff. We love them!!

Rice Casserole

Image
So this is the rice casserole, or what is left of it. We made it the weekend we were up at the cabin with Dillon and Shelzi and the kids. Needless to say I did not get any pictures of the making or eating process. Everyone loves it and I have made it several times. This is kinda my go to recipe.

Clam Chowder

Image
This clam chowder was really good and hardy. I think next time I will add chopped clams not diced and try to get more flavor that way. I think I will also just use it as a potato soup too. We did enjoy this on a cold wintery night.
