Luscious Lemon Poke Cake

I have mixed feelings about this one. It sounds delicious, and I served it to friends who came over for a game night. However, I found the lemon jell-o kinda coagulated and didn't evenly distribute between the cake. It left it kinda gummy in areas. 

As you can see, this didn't stop us from eating the cake😊
